אני מלמד וחוקר בבית הספר לתקשורת במכללה האקדמית נתניה. את עבודת הדוקטורט, שעסקה בזיכרון השואה בעיתונות הישראלית, כתבתי במסגרת החוג לתקשורת באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים, בהנחיית ד"ר יצחק רועה ופרופ' עדית זרטל. לימדתי במוסדות שונים, ביניהם האוניברסיטה העברית, אוניברסיטת תל אביב, מכללת ספיר והמכללה למינהל וכן הרצאות לקהל הרחב במסגרות שונות.

במחקריי אני עוסק בקשרי הגומלין שבין התקשורת לבין התרבות הישראלית בתוכה היא נוצרת. בין השאר חקרתי כיצד קשרים אלו משפיעים על עיתונאים בזמני משבר וכן כיצד הם לוקחים חלק בעיצוב הזיכרון הקולקטיבי הישראלי של השואה.

 

I research and teach in the school of Communication at Netanya Academic College. I received my Ph.D. in Communication from the Hebrew University in Jerusalemץ In my dissertation I explored Holocaust memory in Israeli daily newspapers. I taught in the Hebrew University, Tel-Aviv University, Sapir College and the College of Management.

In my studies I deal with the interrelations between the media and the culture within they are created and operate. I published researches exploring how these relations take part in journalistic work during violent crisis and how they shape Israeli collective memory of the Holocaust. My current research is dealing with memory and trauma.
